PLEASURE FILM BY JULIATI PRODUCTION

What Is Your Pleasure? Julia Juliati, filmmaker, dancer, educator ask this question in her new video production Pleasure. The promo dance film is produced with collaboration of Mason Cadolle and Zimmerli Of Switzerland. Ronny Dutra, Julia’s Argentine tango partner and choreographer plays a “part of her pleasure”.

Exploring The Senses by Juliati Production is a new level of immersive marketing. The goal is to showcase products or services through custom short films exploring all senses involved.

From the director producer of Juliati Production and Pleasure Film, Julia Juliati:

“The idea of the video came to me from observing women in search for intimacy in the world of Tango. As well as from my work as a photographer, and everyday life. There is still general perception that traditional society gives a woman – the right to indulge herself only proper in self-denial. Woman’s pleasure is something that needs to be hidden, be ashamed of, be enjoyed only in the act of giving. But from my point of view, pleasure as a selfish act is so extremely important for happiness and self-esteem. I feel the need to create something powerful, to make a statement, to be bold, to own the pleasure – to show it from a woman’s perspective. I wish to provoke the viewer’s own discoveries, and to answer the question: What is your pleasure?  I’m exploring all senses.”

“The Pleasure process started behind the scenes. From the time Julia Juliati initiated the idea to the moment we met for the very first time in Paris. Warmly embraced, talked, shared delicious lunch, visit Maison Cadolle to choose Julia’s gown, sat in Les Jardins des Tuileries, enjoyed macaroons. We were so pleased and I still remember! I couldn’t wait to see the Pleasure film! An opus claiming the right for women and men as well to enjoy themselves in a selfish manner simply because it’s good for the mind and build happiness. Imagine all of the senses involved when somebody’s pleasing themselves! Sight, smell, hearing, taste, touch, those are the ground for sensuality and this accounts for the Exploring The Senses title.

As a business, we aim to offer companies to explore the senses involved while their clients are experiencing their products through custom short films with a dance signature. Many elements in our film create that mood : the bare feet, the hands game, the fiery light, the lady’s perfume, the tango dance, the exquisite wardrobe all highlighted by the movements of the camera either close up, travelling shot or long shot. The result is simply amazing! The subject here is not sexuality in its biological reading. Now may the Pleasure film awaken sexual desire? Possibly and there’s nothing to be ashamed of. Simply each of us will use the film as desired in privacy and hopefully enjoy the outcomes… Maybe this’s why the film ultimately asks: What makes you happy? What is your Pleasure? “
